CAD design

• Improved user experience for margin line detection and removed unnecessary notifications

• The Distance Map Tool now keeps the selected active and reference models when toggling the Distance Map slider on and off, instead of resetting to defaults
• Fixed an error in Dental Designer during the Pre-manufacturing step when designing orders that include both a positioning guide and a wax-up abutment, allowing the workflow to continue without interruption
• The “Neighboring teeth undercut” option now correctly disables when using the Wax Knife tool in the Smile Composer step
• Dental Designer now supports uninterrupted offline work with Cloud Licenses by preventing License Service connection issues and ensuring autosave functions correctly even without internet access

• Fixed an issue where license service and profile storage were not starting after a clean installation and PC restart
• Fixed an access violation on the Articulator page in Control Panel by improving handling of the “Home” button and page-switching logic

Dental Manager

• Fixed an issue where abutment orders without a completed design could not be sent to manufacturers via FTP without proper license
• Resolved an issue with invalid encryption keys when generating CAM for cases sent from Dental System using Cloud License
• Fixed a “missing scans” error that could occur when modifying orders containing abutment wax-ups
• Improved the logic used to locate CAM output generated by Dental Manager
• Fixed an issue where Dental Manager could become unresponsive or minimize when finishing an order in Dental Designer or creating a standard copy

Dental System Monitor tool

• Introduced a new Dental System Monitor tool that provides visibility into key aspects of the Dental System environment to support troubleshooting and system validation
• The monitor reports on the status and version of core Dental System services and executables, shared folder accessibility, SQL database connectivity, and required port availability
• The tool also verifies client-server connectivity, presence of required programs, and basic system metrics such as disk space and CPU load
• Dental System Monitor generates simple, user-friendly reports that can be used by labs or support team to diagnose runtime issues

AI Bite Alignment: Automatically aligns upper and lower jaw scans—even when bite scans are missing or inaccurate—using a trained AI model. This saves time and ensures reliable occlusion setup, with visual previews and manual fine-tuning available.
Messaging System to Reduce Interruptions: Replaces blocking error dialogs with subtle, non-intrusive notifications that appear in the corner of the workspace. This allows technicians to stay focused on design tasks and resolve issues only when necessary, significantly reducing workflow interruptions.
AI Margin Lines in Copy Denture: The system now automatically detects and draws margin lines based on tooth anatomy in copy denture workflows. This reduces manual adjustments and speeds up the design process, while still allowing for manual refinements.

Cancel Long-Running Operations: Users can now cancel ongoing calculations mid-process, such as feature builds or transitions between design steps. This prevents delays and allows for quick corrections, improving responsiveness and control during design.
Faster Thickness Map Calculation: Thickness maps now update in real time during sculpting, thanks to GPU acceleration. This provides immediate feedback, smoother workflows, and better visualization for fixed restorations.

• Redesign Order Opening Issue Resolved: Resolved an issue when it was not possible to open orderfor redesign after changes were made in Order form

• Deactivated Profiles Removal: Deactivated profiles are removed from operators list on the order form
• Printable Order Form Optimization: Printable order form has been optimized to fit all text

• FDA Validation Error: Fixed an issue where modifying an already designed order caused validation errors. Now, you can modify cases after designing them without any problems.
• Closing Dental Designer: Resolved an error that occurred when closing Dental Designer after adjusting the incisal pin setting in the Virtual Articulator.
• Microsoft MSXML Error: Fixed the “Microsoft MSXML not installed” error in Dental Designer 2024, ensuring the workflow can be completed without issues.
• Smile Composer: Addressed a problem with failing minimum thickness calculations when trying to open Smile Composer.
• Margin Line Generation: Corrected the generation of margin lines for cases with the die scanned in the model.
• Custom Screenshots: Fixed an error that occurred when saving custom screenshots.

• Error Fix: Fixed an issue where some cases showed the error “Cannot project spline on surface” when opening for re-design.
