This error happens because when Windows installs the 25H2 update, it also installs a new .NET Runtime 8.0.x.
The fix is actually super simple:

Go to:
C:\Program Files\dotnet\host\fxr

You’ll see several folders there, something like:
6.0.x
8.0.1
8.0.13 (This one is installed with 25H2 update)

Now, just copy the file hostfxr.dll from the older 8.0.x folder (for example, 8.0.1) and paste it into the newer one (like 8.0.13), replacing the existing file.

That’s literally all I did after updating to Windows 11 25H2, and everything started working fine again.

I'm facing a weird issue. When i try running exocad 3.2 9036 dentalcad (either via dentaldb or by exe), i get the following error. I've installed this version multiple times so i'm sure i did all steps right. The PC im working with has some genuine software that uses USB dongles, I suspect this could be generating some incompatibility with the crack.

Has anyone faced something similar?

If you have legit programs installed that use dongles and license managers like Sentinel or Aladdin keys, it becomes a hassle when you try to use a crack for Exocad. I fixed it by uninstalling all the original programs along with their license managers, then installing Exocad, cracking it and opening it for the first time. I open the Dental DB and the DentalCADApp, close them, and then reinstall all the original programs with their original dongles.
That’s the only way that worked for me, trying to install the Exocad crack while the legit programs with dongles were present was just a waste of time.

Всем доброго времени суток. Имею в наличии старенький сканер от Medit Identica SE , хотел его интегрировать в exocad 3.2 через exoScan , но плагин не качается . Пользуюсь стандартной программой от Medit она крайне не удобная . На старой версии exocad 2.2 Valletta как-то удалось скачать плагин DentalScannerSNX.dll и там всё работает отлично . но с версией 3.2 такого не получается, нет связи с сервером. пробовал через VPN тоже не помогло . Есть ли у кого плагин для DentalScannerSNX.dll ? буду очень признателен.

I'm having an issue on multiple hardware using exocad 9036. After ~1 month the program logs out and blocks the account. I've already blocked all connections to/from exocad ussing the tool provided on this forum. However, as I said the account is blocked anyway after that period of time. This issue happens not only on Win11 25H2 version.

I have a solution for this. I've been applying it to my PCs and it's been working well. I'll share it here with you on the forum since a question about this came up.

To explain the context, when I installed this current version on my machines, I ran a block.bat file (I don't know if you use this). So when the session ends and the user is logged out, I simply disable the firewall, log back in with the same account, and then re-enable the firewall. Just do this and it works.

I've never had problems logging back in with the same account, but if you do, just create another one and log in again.

What bat file is this?

I paste it into the Exocad root folder and run it. This batch file blocks .exe files from accessing the internet. I don't know if it makes much difference since we have to disable it to log back in.

С нового года запуск экзокада 9036 стал невозможен без включения ВПН и регистрации в экзокад. Слышал что существуют способы взлома без регистрации и включения ВПН. У кого нибудь есть такой?
